A small studio. On purpose.
Veluxe Media is a web studio in Estonia. We’re not a thirty-person agency and don’t want to become one. We stay small so your project doesn’t pass through three people on its way to the one doing the work.
Why small
At a big agency one person sells the project, another manages it and a third does it. Every handover loses a little of what you actually wanted.
With us you talk to the same person from start to finish — the one who designs and builds the site. If something is unclear, we ask straight away. If something goes wrong, there’s nobody else to point at.
It also means we take on few projects at a time. Fewer, done properly.
How we work
Five principles you can hold us to.
- Straight to the makerYour email reaches the person building your site. Not an account manager who forwards it.
- Everything in writingProposal, timeline and decisions are written down. Things promised out loud get forgotten.
- Honest adviceIf a new website isn’t the answer, we’ll say so. Sometimes the problem is the ads or how fast enquiries get a reply, not the site.
- Show, don’t describeYou see the design in a real browser and on your phone, not as a PDF. Deciding is much easier that way.
- No made-up numbersOur site has no client logos or percentages we can’t prove. We don’t want yours to have them either.
Who we fit
Well, and not so well.
- A good fitCompanies whose work is good but whose website doesn’t show it. People who want one accountable team and are willing to think about what their site says.
- Not a fitIf you need a site by tomorrow, as cheaply as possible, a ready-made template is the better choice. We’ll tell you so, and suggest where to start.
